Both shows will play host to exhibitors selling the best local, quality and artisan food, providing opportunities for buyers to source new products.
Mike Anderson, director for the Food and Drink Trade Show, said, “Hale Events has launched this brand new trade show in response to demand from both buyers and exhibitors keen to do business in this area. This new show is a unique partnership between Hale Events and our three food group partners – Taste of the West, Heart of England Fine Foods and Wales the True Taste.
“It is attracting a superb mix of exhibitors and generating a fantastic amount of interest locally from hospitality and retail buyers. We can’t wait to see how this new trade show develops and we already have exciting plans for its expansion in 2014,” he added.
The Source, in Exeter, is expanding its Demo Kitchen, with a focus on top local West Country chefs.
The Food and Drink Trade Show is partnered with Heart of England Fine Foods, Taste of the West and Wales the True Taste, which will all have stands at the event.
