Paris to Host International Food Show

The exhibition takes place from 21st to 25th October and will play host to over 140,000 visitors from 200 countries and 6,000 exhibitors.

The event aims to give people in the sector the opportunity to discover innovation in the market, source new products and to provide a single meeting place for industry figures.

19 different exhibition sectors focus on every aspect of the food and drink industry, including design, foodservice and nutrition.

Olivia Milan-Grosbois, group director of SIAL, said, “At the crossroads of global food supply and demand, SIAL establishes numerous food connections between industry professionals who flock to this key food marketplace to display the highly innovative products that will be found in the shops of tomorrow.

“A real asset to sales performance, innovation is also one of the most reliable and valuable forward-looking indicators. We want SIAL 2012 to be more than an exhibition – we want it to be a real place for discussion, discovery, business and pleasure,” she added.

The exhibition focuses on all aspects of the food and drink industry, with an emphasis on trends, food production and the retail sector.
