What sells?
We a wide selection of chutneys, ketchups and over 60 hot sauces which are perfect for a BBQ. Our hot sauces always sell well, especially Whoop Ass. Our truffle mustard from Truffle Hunter flies off the shelf and is a simple yet really tasty way to add something special to a simply barbecued meat.
What’s new?
We have just launched a pouring mustard that is great with lamb, and some Korean BBQ sauces that are fantastic with beef.
Emerging trends
Mustard is really trending right now, especially flavoured mustards. At Selfridges we sell curry, coconut, raspberry and ginger flavoured mustards. Pickles and relishes are really picking up as a category.
Modern pairings
Beer mustard with steak is very popular. Try mixing up flavours from around the world; ponzu sauce and olive oil combine for a simple but tasty salad dressing.
Upselling
Cross selling always works sell your steak sauce with the meats, chutneys with your cheese. Make it easy for people to pick up more than one item for their BBQ.
