- The South Petherton-based deli has been named Somerset Deli of the Year by the Global Cheese Awards
The award was bestowed after the business was judged on its customer service, general deli range, cheese range and cheese knowledge.
Owned by Carol Bentley and Tony Bishton, the site has also been used as a site for a series of pop-up restaurants by Masterchef finalist Angela Langford and will continue to do so until the end of the year.
Carol Bentley, owner said, “Working with Angela and her partner Lee is an absolute joy. We are always amazed at her skill and professionalism and look forward to the pop-ups that we are hosting over the next 3 months.”
Tony Bishton, owner said, “We are absolutely delighted to have this honour bestowed upon us. We could not have achieved this without the efforts of our fabulous team and the support of our many local suppliers.”
