Must-stock frozen food with Finn Dunlop, Macknade

Rather than being dominated by one label we have wanted to maintain a tight range of a few different brands across the ranges.

As well as a range of Frozen ready meals including Cook and ByRuby, we also stock two freezers of Fieldfare, complementing our greengrocery as well as some patisserie. In addition, we stock a range of fantastic ice-cream including Simply Ice cream, Solleys Ice Cream and Ariela gelato. We also have an amazing frozen dumpling range from My Neighbours the Dumplings.

Over the last couple of years, we have seen far more really good quality brands of frozen meals spring up over the covid years which we are keen to explore further.

By introducing additional brands, we have continued to increase frozen sales, and warm summers combined with a surge of outdoor dining certainly increased ice cream sales last year.

When making buying decisions as a business, we should be considering frozen produce in the same way as the rest of the range, understanding the provenance, quality, impact and benefits of the produce to steer our decision.
