Regional Stars 2025 will shine the spotlight on 25 SMEs which passionately advocate for the time-honoured skills and flavours that form part of their region’s food heritage; offering consumers a true taste of their area while upholding valued traditions.
Twenty-five businesses will be hand-picked by a panel of experts from entries put forward by professionals across the food industry, and are set to be announced in the June issue of Speciality Food Magazine and honoured at Speciality & Fine Food Fair, taking place 9th-10th September at Olympia, London.
Nicola Woods, event manager of Speciality & Fine Food Fair, said, “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Speciality Food Magazine to shine a spotlight on incredible brands making a real impact in their local communities. These regional stars represent the heart and soul of the UK’s food and drink industry and the passion, innovation and quality of artisan producers. We can’t wait to check out all the nominees from across the country!”
Holly Shackleton, editor of Speciality Food, said, “Food and drink businesses that promote the culinary heritage of their region play an invaluable role in our sector; not only do they protect Britain’s food stories and history but they inspire consumers from around the world to delve deeper into what is a truly inspiring industry. It’s a genuine pleasure to uncover these gems and give them their well-deserved time in the spotlight – and we are proud to be doing so in partnership with the team at Speciality & Fine Food Fair, which has been a guiding light for food businesses for over 25 years.”
