The Lincolnshire Show is one such event.
Despite announcing in March that the show would be cancelled, the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society has now announced that the 136th edition of the show will move to a virtual platform. Hosted on 24 June, the Lincolnshire Show Online will once again celebrate the best of rural Lincolnshire, and will include the usual features, attractions and exhibitors, with agricultural content, cooking demonstrations, online shopping and entertainment all on the agenda.
“The Lincolnshire Show has always provided the opportunity for the Lincolnshire community and farming world to come together in one place,” Jayne Southall, CEO of the society, said. “We hope to continue celebrating the heritage of Lincolnshire and showcase the best the county has to offer, despite these difficult times we are all currently facing. We would like to invite everyone to be part of our Lincolnshire Show online community, from exhibitors, sponsors and trade stands to farmers, foodies and families.”
Innoveat 2020 is also going virtual for its 2020 instalment. This year’s edition will feature an online marketplace covering various sectors such as travel and leisure, retail, wholesale and foodservice. The event will give virtual visitors access to innovative new products and selected suppliers, and will be open to buyers from 12-16 October.
