The annual event is popular with independent retailers, farm shops, delis, speciality wholesalers and high-end caterers, and offers a valuable opportunity to discover new products and brands, build connections across the sector, and attend exclusive tailored talks and presentations from industry experts.
UK-based producers will be exhibiting alongside international brands from countries including France, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands and regions such as West and Central Africa and the Caribbean.
The Discovery Zone will be the home of food and drink producers that have been running for three years or less, offering visitors a chance to uncover brand new products and businesses all in one place, while the Drinks Cabinet will provide insight into the quality drinks industry – offering expert talks alongside exhibitors showcasing everything from soft drinks and mixers to innovative spirits and independently-brewed beers.
New for 2022 is the Taste the Trends Kitchen, where culinary consultant and chef Steve Walpole will be exploring the tastes and opportunities within the domestic and international food markets, and hosting sessions with industry experts.
Meanwhile, the Food for Thought stage will host sessions from industry experts covering subjects vital to the Speciality Food reader including supply chain challenges, making a success of online platforms post-pandemic, the power of personalised experience, and the road to net zero.
