Get your free copyAmidst the global Coronavirus pandemic, the topic of food safety and hygiene has never been so prevalent. Helping to guide individuals, smaller food companies and larger food operations through these difficult times, IFST has brought together a COVID-19 Advisory Group.
Comprising volunteers, the group will offer independent and practical advice on the topics of health and safety throughout the food supply chain, and will be working with professional bodies and external Government agencies and departments to collate the most up-to-date and reliable information.
On the platform, small and medium businesses can access key resources, including the Food Standards Agency’s guidance on COVID-19 for food businesses and Coronavirus myth busters from the World Health Organization. The platform also provides free e-learning tools on subjects such as labelling, vacuum packing and traceability.
