“We are stronger together”: Bellavita acquires European Pizza & Pasta Show

Bellavita Expo will launch the UK’s largest specialised food and drink trade show for the hotel, restaurant and café sector following its acquisition of European Pizza & Pasta Show (EPPS), the company has said.

For the eighth edition of Bellavita Expo London on 22nd and 23rd June 2022 at Olympia London, the leading European pizza and pasta industry event will join the show to create an “unmissable” event for foodservice and retail buyers.

Aldo Mazzocco, CEO of Bellavita Expo Ltd, said the move was an important and strategic acquisition that secures Bellavita’s leadership in the food and beverage market. “Together with the management of Fiere di Parma and Veronafiere and with the support of our European foodservice stakeholders, we will unite and relaunch the industry. Over the next three years, EPPS aims to become the largest specialised event in Europe, effectively servicing the F&B sector,” he added.

Organised with the support of Vinitaly and Cibus, and in association with The Pizza, Pasta & Italian Food Association (PAPA), the two events will complement each other to create the largest trade show dedicated to food, drinks, and specialised equipment. 

Stanislava Blagoeva-Duschell, MD of EPPS, said the show was happy to join a larger family of events. “This will give us an unprecedented opportunity to develop new content, to add new industries and enhance the offer to our visitors and buyers,” he said. “We look forward to creating a new and exciting omnichannel platform for all our clients year after year, growing with the industry and for the industry. In addition to producers of pasta, pizza, flour, kitchen equipment, charcuterie and cheeses, plant-based and free-from products, as well as wine and beverages, the exhibition will expand its sectors to include artisan bakery equipment and suppliers and shop and restaurant tech services. In addition to the Bellavita Wine Stage and the European Pizza Championship, Bellavita will also launch the inaugural License To Bake - Artisan Bakery Cup competition.
