England’s Most Exclusive Biscuit

Originally founded in 1822, consumers continue to ask for its products to be re-introduced and this is proving a commercial winner.

In October, Huntley & Palmers re-introduced its Chocolate Olivers, probably the most exclusive biscuit in the world and allegedly a favourite of people as different as John Lennon and the Queen Mother. Described as the ultimate biscuit indulgence, it is made using a patented recipe from the 1930’s, which includes a hint of hops and malt, with the thickest, richest dark chocolate. Within eight weeks, initial stocks had sold out, but Chocolate Olivers are now available all year round, through speciality wholesalers or direct from the company.
