David Williams Bowland

Bowland is a tasty Lancashire cheese blended with apples, raisins and cinnamon for a classic English taste that’s fantastic all year round.

David Williams is a family business dating back to 1875 and produces the famous Bowland Lancashire cheese recipe, which originating from that time. The recipe was originally created over 100 years ago by David’s grandfather who dreamed up the cheese as an alternative to Christmas pudding, the recipe was recreated by David in the early 1990’s and has gone on to win a number of awards including Gold at the Nantwich Cheese show, British Cheese Awards and World Cheese Awards, to name but a few.

Based in Sandbach, Cheshire, it has been creating innovative cheese blends for over 25 years.
