Sheppy’s Cider Win CAMRA Award

The CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) National Cider & Perry Awards offer well-respected recognition, as winners are chosen by consumers rather than a judging panel.

Sheppy’s award-winning Medium Draught, a favourite during the summer festival season, is available in both 5 gallon kegs and a 20 litre bag in a box.

David Sheppy said, “We are thrilled to have won Gold in the 2014 CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) National Cider & Perry Awards for our medium draught cider. This is the ultimate achievement as the finalists are voted for by cider-drinkers, rather than a panel of judges – so we know that we have the seal of approval from our customers!

“As we head into the summer cider-drinking season, we look forward to seeing our customers enjoy our award-winning Somerset cider!”

The maker’s Raspberry Cider is now available to buy on First Great Western trains travelling on the London Paddington and Plymouth networks. David Sheppy said, “We are absolutely delighted that Sheppy’s Cider, which has been made by the Sheppy family for almost 200 years, will be listed on such a popular route out of London, down to the South West.

“Many holidaymakers take this line out to the South West coast and can now start their holiday relaxation straight away - on-board First Great Western with a bottle of summery Sheppy’s Raspberry Cider.”
