  • Focusing on the growing interest surrounding local sourcing, a new seminar - Sourcing Locally and Selling Nationally, will give you an insight into this sector.

With 83% of shoppers wanting to buy locally sourced food, this subject is clearly important at present and this seminar, which takes place on 16th May at The Staverton Park Conference Centre, Daventry, Northamptonshire, will provide an excellent overview of the subject for retailers, food manufacturers, brand owners and food service manufacturers and operators.

It will be Chaired by Rob Ward who set up The Distribution Hub for supplying local foods to supermarkets and food service businesses in the West Midlands. A Shropshire farmer supplying soft fruit nationally to all the main retailers, Rob Ward also founded The Eight Farmers’ Market which has developed into one of the largest quarterly food festivals in Britain.

Also speaking at the event is Richard Pearson, head of local sourcing for Asda; Keris Marsden, director of Salsa and Rufus Carter, managing director of Patchwork Pates.

The event will begin at 8am and finish at 4.45pm at a cost of £375+VAT, including a buffet breakfast and lunch.
