Natasha Lovell-Smith, editor of Great British Food said, “We’re launching our awards to give a boost to local producers, who may be well known in their regions, but have yet to get the national recognition we think they deserve. We’ve scoured the length and breadth of Britain to unearth these hidden gems and compile a list of categories we believe represents the scope of what British farmers have to offer – our perfect farmhouse table.”
