The growth of the food industry has been demonstrated in the greater range of things to see and learn; the Health and Wellbeing section of the event alone has increased by over 30 per cent since the 2013 show.
IFE 2015 will welcome exhibitors from 57 countries, including Peru, Mexico, Taiwan and Saudi Arabia for the first time. Central and South America will have an increased presence too, with 350 per cent more exhibitors than ever before – in line with consumer enthusiasm for the street food trend.
As well as the latest product innovations, the event will see live cooking demonstrations, keynote talks and panel debates covering the latest industry subjects, the competition for a start-up scholarship offered by Grocery Accelerator, and the Tri-Nations Butchery Championships.
The New Products Live space will offer visitors a taste of some of the most innovative products at the show, while The Great British Kitchen, The Skillery and Tastes of the World Live will showcase a wide range of culinary talents.
Popular features returning for this year’s event are The Hub, The Export Advice Centre, The UKTI Buyers Lounge and The Health & Wellbeing Theatre.
Running alongside IFE will be Pro2Pac, the UK’s only food and drink processing and packaging exhibition, and Waste-Works, the waste and resource event dedicated to the food service industry.
