- Speciality food distributor Blakemore Fine Foods has launched a new mobile app to allow its customers to order products on-the-go
The app, which is available free of charge on both iOS and Android platforms, enables customers to order products from the Blakemore Fine Foods range for delivery.
More than 900 chilled and ambient product lines from 170 suppliers are available to choose from.
The platform also includes a barcode scanner and profit-on-return (POR) calculator, as well as facilities for customers to search products, view their order history and favourite items.
Patrice Garrigues, commercial manager of Blakemore Fine Foods said, “We have developed this new app to help make our customers’ lives easier and improve their ordering experience. Investing in new technology is essential for efficient business.”
Sarah Gill, manager at The Burstead Farm Shop in Essex and a Blakemore Fine Foods customer, commented, “The app is really quick and easy to use, and it has saved me a lot of time when ordering.
“The barcode scanner is an excellent feature as it saves flicking through a brochure to find codes.”
The app is available to download from the Apple iTunes store and the Google Play Store.
