- The 11th edition of the Real Italian Wine & Food event will take place at The Lindley Hall later this week, bringing a taste of Italy to London
On the 14th of July, over 70 producers will showcase their food and wines from across Italy at the 11th edition of the Real Italian Wine & Food (RIWF) event.
Presenting their products to the industry, there will be over 14 extra virgin olive oil producers and a selection of pasta and pizza, cheeses, charcuteries, confectionery, coffee and truffles.
As organic produce has become more popular amongst consumers over the past few years, the event will also showcase 20 organic producers of wine and food.
Richard Ballantyne, Master of Wines, will hold a masterclass entitled “Campania, the gateway to the south” featuring some fine wines from the region of Naples, at 11:30am.
Commenting on the value of the event, Ryan Lewis, from Hidden Vines, said, “It has been a wonderful event with high-quality producers. A good and useful experience for us. Thank you to the organisers.”
As always, the event will be divided into two different sections (wine and food) and it will only be open to trade professionals and the press.
