The cakes are baked to founder Elaine’s mother’s traditional recipe, and their Cumbria cakes are infused with rums from The Cartmel Spirit Company, Richardsons of Whitehaven and The Rum Story in Whitehaven.
The cakes are hand-wrapped using biodegradable, compostable, cellulose (cellophane) food grade bags, natural raffia and card.
The utmost care has been taken to ensure that both the original and gluten-free versions of the cakes are as fruity, flavoursome and fantastic as Elaine’s mother’s used to be.
