  • With a rising consumer demand for plant-based, “better for you” and sustainable solutions, food and drink companies are competing for the attention of this growing consumer audience. Food Matters Live 2020: Buyers from Waitrose, Planet Organic, Selfridges and other leading experts to choose the brands of the future

Spanning across three different categories of UK start-ups (businesses that have been trading for less than three years), UK challenger brands (businesses that have been trading for three years or more) and international brands that are new to the UK or looking for distribution, shortlisted Future Brands entrants will be able to get their products in front of a captive buyer audience at the curated Food Matters Live exhibition in London on the 13-14th October 2020. Shortlisted entrants will also be able to enjoy access to a match making portal for 1-2-1 meetings with UK buyers and distributors of food and drink products, preferential exhibition rates for a branded showcase area within the curated Food Matters Live exhibition, editorial coverage in the weekly Table Talk Newsletter that is distributed to 100,000 industry professionals, and much more.

In addition to the above, the lucky winning entrants will be able to elevate their brand profile through video interviews onsite, a live winner’s podcast, winner marketing collateral to be used on packaging, and enhanced marketing presence during the exhibition. On the 12th October 2020 a judging panel of esteemed food and drink buyers will meet the shortlisted entrants for a day of pitching sessions in London. Each of the three competition categories will have a gold, silver and bronze winner to be announced in a prestigious reception.
