Uncle Roy usually has something unusual for us, and new arrivals for 2013 include Smoked Scottish Seaweed.
They are to use in soups, stews, boiled rice or grind as a condiment and come in elegant tall 211ml jars with his typically quirky labels; sold in cases of five for £14.25 they have an rrp of £3.99.
Presented in the same jars and pack size are six new Smoked Teas; We all know Lapsang Souchong Tea but these news teas are smoked with smoke from Scotch Whisky oak barrels and have a much smoother subtle flavour that works especially well with milk & sugar as well as without. Varieties include Scottish Breakfast, Earl Grey and Green Gunpowder as well as Ceylon – and “Uncle Roy’s Favourite” – all also at £14.25 per five and a £3.99 rrp.
Of course, the original twelve 135ml Oak Smokies (garlic, pepper, salt, mixed herbs, onion mustard, paprika etc) are all still available.
