Stokes Launches Chipotle Ketchup

The new sauce combines the smoky heat of real chipotle chillies with a full-flavoured Italian tomato base.

The versatile new product is the latest addition to Stokes’ range of sauces, which includes classic ketchups, mayonnaises and barbecue sauces, and was inspired by the Chilli Ketchup and Bloody Mary Ketchup also in the range.

Rick Sheepshanks, founder of Stokes Ketchup said, “Chipotle peppers work fantastically well in ketchup, giving a smoky taste I love and it is a flavour that is increasingly popular for burgers, barbeques and hotdogs.”

The Suffolk-based producer has been creating sauces for nearly 20 years, using the best ingredients available including unrefined cane sugar and high quality Italian tomatoes, to great consumer response – 2013 alone saw sales of its ketchup rise by 40 per cent.
