A creamy Stilton blended with apricots to give a classic flavour, Shirevale Stilton is also produced with ten percent less salt than other White Stiltons.
Made by Shirevale, the seventh Stilton maker based in the village of Cropwell Bishop in Leicestershire, this White Stilton is the purist Stilton around.
Why? Because White Stilton is all it produces. The facilities aren’t used to make Blue Stilton so they don’t have any blue mould spores, making Shirevale’s product quite unique. The makers at Shirevale also have over 20 year’s experience blending cheeses and were the original creators of White Stilton and Apricot in the 1990’s at Millway Foods.
White Stilton is an ideal accompaniment for cheese boards or as an alternative to dessert, and is fantastic served with a light fruity white or rosé wine.
