Putney Sauce

Take our range of ‘Sauces’; perfect for family feasts, quick teas, ladies that lunch and special nights in… Some of our favourites are Pesto alla Genovese, with fresh Italian Basil, whole pine nuts and 18 month aged Parmesan and the brand new Chilli Harissa, with wickedly hot chillies crushed with garlic, herbs and spices - amazing with chicken (see our Harissa Chicken recipe here), but also excellent with fish and stirred into tagines, rice, dips, couscous, on a jacket spud, stirred into Chilli and even mixed up into a tasty dip with a dollop of crème fresh.

Or how about Putney.  Our imaginatively named sauce that’s not quite a chutney (but nearly) so we named it Putney instead.  Now known as Putney Chutney it’s made with sundried tomatoes, red peppers, onions, extra virgin olive oil, chilli, lemon juice and black pepper and is simply wondrous with everything from cheese to chops, bangers to burgers or just spooned straight from the jar. A real tomato sauce with a difference.

Sell it as a pasta sauce, a base for pizzas and tartlets, stuffed into chicken, dolloped onto fish or stirred into a hearty stew…
