Dorset-based Pink’s offers an award-winning range of organic and vegetarian products, and was a winner of the prestigious Taste of Dorset Food Awards for Innovation in 2010.
Pink’s was founded in the late 1880’s by the current owner’s great great grandfather. Its ethos back then was to supply food that was pure and untainted – and this is the inspiration for the revived company that was launched in 2010.
Pink’s uses pure ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible, and each product is made by hand, in small batches, using open pans to ensure quality.
Its Smoked & Semi Dried Tomatoes are jarred in a herb-infused rapeseed oil and really cannot be beaten. The Smoked Tomato, Cashew Nut & Parmesan Tapenade is sublime, winning Great Taste Awards and a Soil Association Award. The Lime & Lemongrass Green Chelli is also delight, while the newly-introduced – but not lagging – Oak Smoked Sweet Red Peppers, jarred in a herb infused rapeseed oil, won gold at this year’s Great Taste Awards.
People in Dorset are known to love their food, and the team at Pink’s don’t believe in doing things by halves. If something doesn’t look and taste divine then they simply won’t make it, it’s as simple as that.
