Known for its luxury dairy ice-cream, Mackie’s of Scotland believes it has created ‘the perfect Scottish crisp’ with its new range of thick-cut potato crisps. Available in six flavours, the choice includes traditional favourites like Cheese and Onion and Sea Salt and Vinegar, as well as some limited edition flavours like Haggis and Cracked Black Pepper. Mackie’s of Scotland has joined forces with another Scottish family business Taypack Potatoes, to create the crisps. This allows the company to control every stage of the production process; from growing the potatoes to cooking them in a specially made fryer that ensures a consistently crispy, dry texture. The crisps are available in both large and individual sized bags with shelf-ready packaging.
