Oak Smokie’s from Uncle Roy

Uncle Roy is well known for producing original and innovative products that soon become indispensable.

His latest inspiration takes the finest dried mushrooms and slowly smokes them using Scotch Whisky-barrel oak sawdust.

The result is staggering flavour – whether it is for using in a risotto, ragout, sauces, soups, or stews.

Already available in this great “Oak Smokie” range are smoked condiments such as salt and pepper, mustard seed, garlic, paprika, chillies and four other equally invaluable ingredients, a range of smoked teas and last year’s hit - Smoked mixed Scottish Seaweed.

The new offerings are presented in nice tall jars, with a useful small shelf footprint, in six varieties - ranging from Mixed Forest Mushroom to the delectable Morels - and all are packed in fives with rrps ranging from £2.15 to £15.50.
