Pelagonia are now adding to their popular range by launching this autumn season 2 new vegetable jams to partner their Pumpkin Jam.
Available exclusively in the UK via Cotswold Fayre from November, the new jams made a big impression on independent retailers at Speciality Fine Food Fair earlier in September.
Debbie Atherton from the award winning Arch House Deli described the Beetroot Jam as ‘best product ever’. The jam works well with cheese or as a relish, made from 70% beetroot with a hint of lemon and ginger.
Pelagonia continues its range of products based around their trademark sweet red peppers with the new roasted red pepper jam made from 70% roasted romano peppers complemented by thyme, marjoram and ginger.
Vegetables used in sweet recipes are becoming more and more accepted long after the days we all started eating carrot cake, with many top restaurants now using vegetables in desserts on their menu.
