Our new Fruitier Vinegars are finally here and two of them have already won Great Taste Gold***

Following very positive feedback at Speciality & Fine Food Fair recently, we have now launched our new “fruitier range”

What has changed INSIDE the bottle?

• We’ve halved the amount of sugar we use, resulting in our finished vinegars having only 33% sugar in, now. This has resulted in a flavour balance where the fruit is stronger, the vinegar sensation in the throat is better balanced and there is significantly less intrusion of the “cordial like” sweetness many didn’t like.

• The halving of added sugar has resulted in a big drop in yield so we have had to increase the price of our retail bottles, but we have kept this to a minimum. And our 1 litre catering bottles (in plastic) have actually fallen in price.

• These vinegars are now “Womersley, the Second Generation” if you like. We have been listening to buyers and consumers told us they were too sweet so our BRC accredited kitchen has refined the Parsons family’s original recipes to produce these stunning results.

And OUTSIDE?

• Our really smart 250ml bottles now have a black synthetic pourer, far more in keeping with our smart brand image and quality finish

• Our 100ml bottles are now a baby version of the 250ml, shorter and wider, making them more stable and easier to fit on the shelf. They also appear more generous than the long thin bottles.

• We have updated our labels, following labelling guidelines and including new uses copy which is more inclusive.

• We now finish all our bottles with smart PVC tamper seals which show how British we are and to make it clear to customers that these are exciting new recipes.
