Fentimans has launched the world’s first botanically brewed tonic water in a four-pack with a promotion that offers consumers their money back if they don’t like it.
Eldon Robson, Fentimans’ managing director and master brewer explains that the taste difference is due to the balance of lemon and quinine. “Fentimans tonic water is made with lemongrass from the Cochin area of India, so that a refreshing lemon sharpness comes through initially, followed by a subtle sweetness which complements spirits and replaces the often overwhelming, metallic taste of quinine. With an ABV of less than 0.5, Fentimans tonic blends with spirits to enhance them. So, we’re confident that we will not be inundated with requests for refunds!”
