As well as being suitable for vegetarians and naturally free of gluten, quinoa, has long been known for its nutritional benefits. High in dietary fibre, potassium, and protein, quinoa makes a healthy alternative to regular pasta, which typically is made of non-wholegrain durum wheat and has a higher calorie and fat content with less fibre.
Quinoa is 0 per cent cholesterol and also contains vital minerals like calcium, iron and phosphorous as well as all nine of the essential amino acids needed by the human body, as well as vitamin C and numerous B-vitamins.
Currently, Inkka’s pasta range includes spaghetti, linguine, fusilli, and curvo rigate, all of which are vegetarian approved, Kosher and gluten-free certified, as well as being guaranteed free of preservatives and GMO.
