The range of freshly frozen ready meals encompasses family favourites such as Cottage Pie, Toad in the Hole and Fish Pie helping out busy parents with their family evening meals. It also includes more “entertaining style” meals such as Coquilles St Jacques, Chicken en Croute and the Great Taste Gold Award winning Asparagus and Gruyere Crown. Favourite desserts include Rhubarb and Ginger Crumble, Sticky Toffee Pudding with Butterscotch Sauce and Summer Pudding.
The ready meals can now be merchandised in an upright freezer which will hold 20 different field fare products and takes up less than 1/2sqm2 of retail floor space.

“We have been successfully selling field fare’s frozen fruit, veg, patisserie and fish lines from 2 chest freezers for some time now and wanted to extend our range of field fare products. Not having a lot of floor space in our shop, their new upright freezer seemed the right solution,” says Steph Baker of Bampton Fruit & Veg, Devon.
“Now only a few weeks in, adding a range of Ready Meals in an upright has already proved to be the right decision. The range is becoming very popular and we are already seeing a lot of repeat purchases,” Steph adds.
