The UK’s first chickpea crispbread has been created by gluten-free producers, Easy Bean.
The company’s aim is to raise the profile of lentils, peas and beans as nature’s healthiest food. The crispbread is available in three flavours: Moroccan spice, seeds and black pepper, and mung bean and chive, which complement the nutty chickpea flour and buttermilk recipe.
Topped with careful seasoning and toasted seeds, they make a popular option for dipping, sharing, lunching and snacking. The crackers are made using chickpea flour rather than wheat flour, making the crackers naturally suitable for vegetarians, plus high in fibre and wheat-free.
