Discover Great British Mint

This English peppermint tea is made using traditional Black Mitcham mint, grown and harvested by Summerdown Farms.

The leaves are dried and then infused with the pure mint oil distilled on the farm, enhancing its unique aromatic taste – one of the features that helped the tea win Great Taste Awards in 2009 and 2011.

It took Summerdown more than a decade to bring traditional Black Mitcham peppermint home to the UK, relearning lost farming skills from America and combining them with the latest technology at its farm in the foothills of the Hampshire downs.

The result is a rare, single estate peppermint oil, which is used as the basis for all Summerdown’s peppermint products to produce a taste that has been lost for generations. Bright, fresh and aromatic, it is very different from the harsher, blended, imported peppermint of the past 60 years.
