Dean’s

The story begins in 1975 at the heart of Helen Dean’s kitchen, in the small town of Huntly, North East Scotland. Helen’s original ‘melt in the mouth’ shortbread recipe became so popular that she decided to establish her own small bakery in the town to meet with demand.

Deans has grown considerably since its humble beginnings, but the Deans factory is still in Huntly and is very much a family-run firm. Firmly established itself as the leading quality shortbread brand.
