Linghams Chilli Sauce is celebrating over 100 years of making its chilli sauce using only fresh chillies.
With only four ingredients - fresh chillies harvested daily, sugar, vinegar and salt – to its knowledge, Linghams Chilli Sauce is the only commercially marketed chilli sauce made using fresh, not dried chillies and is available from Evans, Gray & Hood Foods.
The sauce has been produced to the same recipe since 1908 and is part of the Linghams range of products. Joining the regular chilli sauce is garlic, ginger, ginger garlic and Thai variants.
Medium hot, Linghams Chilli Sauce is ideal with British dishes such as Bangers and Mash or Shepherds Pie. It is also perfect as a dipping sauce, or to add to a stir-fry.
