- The first British product to be sold on the alcohol shelf has been produced by Smith & Sinclair
Each hand-made pastille contains top quality spirits such as rum, gin and whisky, plus fresh fruit and real spices, and a box of six contains 2.6 alcohol units. They are all gluten, dairy and preservative-free.
Flavours include Mixed Berry Daiquiri (with summer berries, dark rum and a pink peppercorn infused coating), Gin & Tonic (violet infused gin and a lemon sherbet coating) and Whisky Sour (with a sour grapefruit coating).
Melanie Goldsmith, co-founder said, “We are delighted to have launched across the UK. It’s such a huge achievement for a company still in its first year and we have so many more exciting developments just around the corner.”
