Get your free copyRun in line with family business – and Duke of York Square neighbour – Partridges which was behind the concept, and working with support from the Cadogan Estate, the new shop will be open daily from 8am-7pm, selling products from a rotating selection of artisan producers until mid-summer.
Producers scheduled include Hush Hush Chefs, producer of handmade pies, Chango Empanadas which offers authentic Argentine empanadas, traditional French patisserie business Comptoir Gormand and Hampshire-based coffee roaster Peaberry Coffee.
Kitty Shepherd, co-founder of Startisans said, “We’re delighted to be able to bring Startisans to Chelsea. We opened our first shop in Covent Garden towards the end of last year and to be able to expand the concept is really satisfying. We’re grateful to the Cadogan Estate for giving us the space to do this.
“We’re continuing to develop a framework for small food businesses to be able to bring their ideas to market without the large overheads of opening an actual shop. It’s extremely rewarding to work with these innovative businesses and offer such great products, often at the forefront of emerging food trends, to consumers.”
