Kate Nicholson, sales marketing manager for Hawkshead Relish, said, “This is a really special award and means a great deal as it recognises local Cumbrian producers. It is so important to Hawkshead Relish to be a part of the Cumbrian community.”
Mark Whitehead, managing director for the company, added, “I am truly honoured that this product has been recognised in this way and especially in Cumbria, where we have so many acclaimed producers who create artisan food celebrated nationally. This is really special!”
