Launched two years ago by speciality potato growers Robert and Laura Strathern, Fairfields Farm Crisps is based in Colchester, Essex and produces premium crisps that are hand-selected and pan-fried in sunflower oil, before being flavoured with a wide variety of locally produced unique flavours.
Linking up with other local producers such as Aspall Cyder from Debenham in Suffolk, The Chilli Company in Suffolk for Sweet Thai Chilli flavour and Suffolk Farmhouse Cheese & Chive using Suffolk Gold Cheese, the crisps fill a unique gap in the market for snacks with real provenance.
Other popular flavours in the range are Wicks Manor Smoky Bacon, and a Parsnip Crisp with Local Essex Honey and Black Pepper. Fairfields has combined its speciality potatoes with other like minded small producers, to give what is a uniquely local product. All flavours are 100% natural, and available in 100g and 40g bags.
